Meeting with Dennis Mark
We met with the chief investigator for Not For Sale Campaign for 5 hours on Wednesday. Wow... Dennis is a friend and a teacher - every time we meet it feels like we should be getting some sort of school credit. We learned so much and were able to plan some important things for the Rescue The Girl team, including going through the "hands that heal" training before going to Pune, India this summer.

Interviewing Dennis Mark
Rescue The Girl Interviewing Dennis Mark (not pictured) in his home during our trip to Houston. Dennis is a friend, husband, father, and life example... and he also just happens to be the chief investigator for the Not For Sale Campaign and president of Redeemed Ministries. He's an amazing Abolitionist! Catch his story and testimony in the upcpming film at http://rescuethegirl.com
Me and Nathan are meeting with Dennis tomorrow in Dallas to talk about the weather among other things.
CAVE LIFE: Art
While I edit the film artists come and go the cave. Sometimes they are helping create art for the film, other times they are working on their own project - I love it.
In theses pics Melissa is working on her own painting. It's great to be able to look over my shoulder while I'm editing and see live art going on. It keeps the creative environment... well.... creative!
Do you want to do some art in the RtG editing office, a.k.a. "The Cave"? Come on over. We'll put on some coffee and keep the creativity flowin'.
Peace from the Editing Cave,
Matthew

Searching for Inspiration...
Matthew and I took a quick break from the 'mancave' where we are editing the film to get some sunlight, search for some inspiration and take care of a little business downtown.
After a half hour of singing into an empty chamber of an abandoned railroad train car, I finally dragged Matthew back down... it was well worth it!
This abandoned railroad station is actually one of the scenes we shot an interview for the film...why do you ask? (HINT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underground_Railroad )
RtG is officially legit. With our own Tax ID and bank account! Ba-da-bing!
